With over eight years’ experience of drafting, editing and reviewing technical marine environmental content, I deliver high quality reports, briefing notes, background documents, environmental assessments and literature reviews, to budget, and on time.
My extensive experience of working on international marine environment related issues, means I am quick to understand the brief provided by international clients, and can easily tailor content to the desired target audience, be it policy advice, websites for the general public, or technical information for scientific communities.
My most recent role has required me to specialise in cross political boundary marine litter related issues, delivering on the actions and objectives of the OSPAR Marine Litter Regional Action Plan. Prior to this, I managed the production of OSPAR’s Intermediate Assessment of the North East Atlantic Ocean, coordinating efforts across 15 countries with collaborations from over 150 technical specialists.
My five years' experience working as an environmental consultant, leading and supporting on a variety of marine environment consenting projects (including port developments, dredging schemes, and coastal defence schemes), is a testament to my ability to work well under pressure, and deliver project outputs to a high standard. My project experience includes coordinating and managing the process of EIA as well as authoring technical sections in Scoping Reports and Environmental Statements, working closely with clients, government departments and both statutory and non-statutory consultees.
